Wholesale e-commerce — gated pricing

Etika Wholesale

A wholesale women’s clothing supplier where pricing is gated behind membership — a storefront plus a permission system.

The problem

Wholesale does not work like retail. Etika supplies boutiques and retailers in bulk, and wholesale pricing is not something you put on a public page — the shop’s own retail customers must not see it, and neither should competitors. But the collections still need to be publicly browsable so new boutiques can find them and ask for an account. So the site had to show everything and price nothing, until the visitor is a verified member.

What was built

  • An entry gate that greets every visitor with three clear paths: log in as an existing member, request wholesale access, or continue as a guest and browse without prices.
  • A public catalogue anyone can browse — New In, Bestsellers, Sale, Clothes, Outwear, Sets, Pants and Skirts — with wholesale prices hidden from non-members.
  • A member/wholesale account layer: request, approval and login, after which real bulk pricing unlocks across the whole catalogue.
  • Two different views of the same product data, so nothing has to be duplicated or maintained twice.
  • Standard shop tooling on top — search, wishlist, cart and accounts — plus an Arabic language toggle.
  • SEO aimed at the actual buyer — boutique owners and retailers searching for a wholesale supplier in Lebanon — rather than at end consumers.

The result

Etika can market its collections publicly without exposing wholesale pricing, and new retailers can find the catalogue, request an account and see real prices without a single WhatsApp back-and-forth about "what is your price list". This is the project that shows the studio builds systems, not just storefronts.
