QR digital menu — bilingual

Ali Bilal Ice Cream

A QR digital menu with live categories, search, bilingual AR/EN and a USD/LBP currency toggle — no app, no reprints.

The problem

In Lebanon a printed menu is out of date the moment it is printed. Prices move, the dollar rate moves, and seasonal items come and go — so the shop either reprints constantly or covers prices with stickers. On top of that, customers read in both Arabic and English, and they want to pay attention to the price in the currency they actually think in.

What was built

  • A QR-accessible digital menu that opens straight in the browser — no app download, no install step at the table.
  • Live category navigation across the real menu: Ice Cream, Cheesecake, Special Cups, Milkshakes, Drinks, Desserts, Seasonal and Winter Items.
  • A currency toggle so prices can be read in USD or in local currency, which matters more in Lebanon than anywhere else.
  • Full Arabic/English switching across the whole menu, including item names and categories.
  • Per-item variants and pricing — a cheesecake priced both by the slice and as a whole cake — plus "Best Seller" tagging to steer the order.
  • Item search, so a customer looking for one specific flavour does not have to scroll every category.
  • A light/dark display mode for readability at an outdoor table at night.
  • Contact numbers in the header and a contact block with WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and location, so an order can start from the menu itself.

The result

The shop updates its own menu instead of reprinting it. Prices, seasonal items and availability change in place, and every customer gets the menu in their language and their currency from one QR sticker on the table.
